Hobby Lobby has leased a former J.C. Penney anchor site that was vacant about three years, mall spokeswoman Victoria Blouch said today.

Construction at the 51,300-square-foot site is under way. Hobby Lobby plans to hire about 30 part-time and 30 full-time workers in mid-June and open in late June, Blouch said.

Hobby Lobby offers craft, fabric, floral and party supplies. It operates more than 430 stores nationwide, including two in Pennsylvania, in Chambersburg and Easton.
