Joy Daniels Real Estate group is a 50% woman owned real estate business based in Harrisburg. It has 15 employees. Joy Daniels, a licensed real estate agent and broker, launched the company in 2010.
According to her bio in a 2022 CPBJ Construction and Real Estate Power List, Daniels is a listing specialist who works with sellers to achieve their specific real estate goals while helping them understand their homes value and the current/local market. She negotiates contracts and their contingencies including inspections, financing, and appraisal issues. She is also responsible for video blogging, marketing, and mentoring and training listing specialists.
Daniels finds satisfaction in having built a brand with a unique concept where all the agents are specialized. She also takes satisfaction in supporting the community through the company’s JOY CARES effort.
“When I first started in real estate, an agent in my office, Bonnie Henderson, took me under her wing. She showed me her home office, data base software and shared some organizational things that helped me move forward. My husband has also been my mentor,” Daniels said.
She said a strong work ethic, 24-7 availability, patience and a really big “WHY” are necessary to enter real estate. “As soon as possible you should find an assistant; an assistant helps you deliver the best customer experience. It’s better NOT to try to do everything yourself,” Daniels advises.
