The company opened stayAPT Suites Harrisburg at 457 Port View Dr. The location lists 70 suites across three stories, and each suite features a living room, full-size kitchen, and separate bedroom. According to a release, the room layout for each 500+ square-foot suite was designed to feel residential, with a living room, a full kitchen, and a separate bedroom. 

“We are excited to open our first in Pennsylvania,” stayAPT Suites President and CEO Gary DeLapp said in a statement. “stayAPT Suites offers travelers a unique and comfortable accommodation option for nightly, weekly, or monthly stays. We provide more than just a room; we provide spacious apartment-style accommodations with the flexibility and conveniences of a hotel — a welcoming space for our guests while away from home.” 

The living room in each suite includes a sleeper sofa and wall-mounted smart television. The full-size kitchen features a four-burner stove, oven, dishwasher, microwave, and refrigerator. The private bedroom separate from the living area lists a king or two queen-sized beds, a walk-in closet, large desk, and a second large, wall-mounted smart television. 

Additional on-property amenities outside the suites include an enclosed outdoor courtyard with a built-in grill station, on-site guest laundry facilities, and a fitness center. 

The Harrisburg location offers access to major routes, including Interstate 83 with an exit at Paxton Street and is within walking distance of the . and are also close by. 

The Harrisburg site is the 30th stayAPT Suites hotel to open nationally. The company entered the lodging market in January 2020 and expects to have more than 40 hotels open by the end of 2024, per a release.
