Held recently at the , the event brought together investors, leaders, and economic development partners to celebrate the impact of the work done by the Capital Region Economic Development Corporation (CREDC) and preview the campaign’s next phase. Key initiatives, outcomes, and returns on investment from past campaigns underscoring CREDC’s role in driving economic growth across the region were among the highlights of the event.

CREDC’s volunteer Capital Campaign Committee and staff secured more than 50% of the campaign’s fundraising goal in early 2025 prior to the public launch. According to a release, with less than half of the goal remaining, CREDC used the event to highlight its long-term impact.

“The Investors’ Impact Celebration was not only a moment to reflect on what we’ve accomplished; it was a launchpad for what’s next,” , president and CEO of the Harrisburg Regional Chamber & CREDC, said in a statement. “The 2025–2027 campaign represents our continued commitment to building a stronger, more competitive region. None of this is possible without the vision and investment of the leaders who believe in our mission.”

Since 2001, CREDC has secured more than $348 million in for 532 projects, helping to create or retain nearly 19,000 jobs and generating $813 million in . In 2024, every dollar invested in CREDC returned $72 in regional economic value.

The Harrisburg Regional Chamber is a five-star accredited chamber through the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, distinction held by fewer than 1% of chambers nationwide. CREDC is the Certified Economic Development Organization for , Dauphin, and counties.
