New Oxford-based Ambient Homes LLC, a company that provides integrated smart home solutions for senior living communities, announced a $100,000 investment from Ben Franklin Technology Partners.
The funding will help advance and expand Ambient Homes’ innovative technologies, a release said.
The company’s products and services include:
· A smart home hub and app that allows seniors to easily control their lights, thermostat, security system and more.
· Technology training classes to help senior residents adapt to new technologies.
· Virtual and in-person technical support for seniors.
Ambient Homes’ founder Alex Louderback, said, “We are incredibly excited to join forces with an organization as respected as Ben Franklin Technology Partners. Their investment validates the importance of our mission to empower seniors by placing the power of a smart home in their hands. This funding will propel our efforts to develop more advanced and intuitive products and services that cater to the unique needs of senior living communities.”
John Gallo, chief operating officer, added: “This investment will enable us to scale our operations and reach more seniors with our life-enhancing solutions.
