Headquartered in St. Louis, Missouri, EverTrue is the 11th largest nonprofit aging services provider in the country, according to a release. Cumberland Crossings was acquired by Lutheran Senior Services in 2024. 

 The internal launch of the EverTrue brand took place on March 4 for team members, residents, and clients. 

“We’re excited about this new chapter as EverTrue,” , president and CEO, said in a statement. “For more than a year, we conducted extensive research and held focus groups to determine how we can best advance our mission. These efforts showed us a clear need and opportunity to bring all our communities and offerings under one name that better conveys who we are. The desires of older adults are changing, and we want to continue to innovate and lead aging services.” 

Per a release, the name EverTrue “encapsulates the organization’s dedication to helping individuals discover the best version of themselves and live life on their own terms.” 

“We are ever true to who we are and ever true to those we serve,” said Marles. “Our evolution into EverTrue does not change our core identity. We remain a Lutheran, nonprofit organization and a Recognized Service Organization of the Lutheran Church – Missouri Synod and a Social Ministry Organization of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America.” 

EverTrue will continue to offer , , , , , and in-home services. 

“We are incredibly thankful to our team members, residents, clients, donors and volunteers who have contributed to our 165-year history of impact,” Marles said. “EverTrue will carry our mission forward as we strive to be a leader in aging services and create environments where older adults can thrive.”
