URL Insurance Group expands C-suite
Harrisburg-based URL Insurance Group has named a new president and two senior vice presidents as part of its expansion efforts.
The insurance group said Steve Clemens takes over as president and Christy Wilbert and Jim McDaniel as senior vice presidents.
Clemens fosters lasting relationships with agents and empowers them to achieve their clients’ financial goals, the company said. He rose through the ranks, starting as an independent agent and life insurance marketing specialist, to become executive vice president of Life Markets in 2021.
Clemens also serves NAIFA Greater Harrisburg in various leadership positions, including Board of Directors, vice president, and president.
Wilbert started with URL in 2015 as director of Medicare, leading the Medicare Offerings Department through tremendous growth, URL said. She is a Personal Lines Coverage Specialist and an Associate in General Insurance.
McDaniel spearheads URL’s technological advancements and marketing initiatives. URL said he joined the company in 2005 and has since led the company’s branding efforts and web development, as well as ensured robust information security. His strategic vision and leadership have been instrumental in URL’s consistent growth for nearly two decades.
McDaniel’s responsibilities have recently expanded to include overseeing the Operations Department which includes marketing, technology, commissions, and contracting.
