Over 40 graduates completed healthcare training programs
Programs include CNA, phlebotomy, and medical assisting
New Francis J. Dixon Suite enhances clinical training
Tec Centro Lebanon‘s recent graduation ceremony celebrated a workforce milestone and unveiled a healthcare training suite.
The ceremony honored more than 40 newly trained healthcare professionals. Held at Tec Centro Lebanon (the WEPA Empowerment Center), the event also included the formal dedication of the new Francis J. Dixon Healthcare Training Suite, a state-of-the-art facility that will expand access to high-quality healthcare education in the region.
“This graduation represents more than just completed coursework,” Kay Litman, executive director of Tec Centro Lebanon, said in a statement. “It symbolizes transformation, resilience, and the power of opportunity.
“Our graduates are now prepared to enter the healthcare workforce and serve their communities with skill and compassion. And with the opening of the Francis J. Dixon Healthcare Training Suite, we’re expanding our capacity to uplift even more lives in the years ahead.”
Graduates were recognized from several programs, including Certified Nursing Assistant, Medical Assistant, Phlebotomy, and Healthcare Office Assistant training, per a release. These individuals enter the workforce equipped with the skills and certifications needed to meet growing healthcare demands across Central Pennsylvania.
The evening featured remarks from Tec Centro leadership, along with local and state officials, including Representative John Schlegel, Senator Chris Gebhard, Lebanon County Commissioners, and representatives from HACC. Graduates also shared testimonies about their personal and professional journeys.
The Francis J. Dixon Healthcare Training Suite will offer enhanced clinical training opportunities for future healthcare workforce development in Lebanon County.
A member of The Tec Centro Workforce Network, Tec Centro Lebanon collaborates with area community colleges and training programs to provide skills training that leads to careers in high-demand areas such as allied health occupations, construction trades, culinary arts, commercial and industrial building maintenance.
