Snyder, Bean funeral homes partner on Lebanon County purchase
Charles F. Snyder and Kevin Bean have partnered to purchase Porterfield-Scheid Funeral Directors & Cremation Services in North Cornwall Township, Lebanon County.
The two independent local funeral home owners serve the Lancaster and Reading communities and have established the Snyder Bean Funeral Home & Crematory at the former Porterfield-Scheid Funeral Home located at 890 Isabel Drive, Lebanon.
“We are very proud to be an independent, locally family-owned funeral home supporting our local employees, churches and businesses,” Chad and Kevin said in a statement. “We are family owned, and family focused.”
The transition marks the establishment of quality and compassionate funeral services under the new supervision of Charles F. Snyder Funeral Homes & Crematory in Lancaster County and the Bean Funeral Homes & Crematory located in Berks County. Katelynn E. Fetter, a licensed funeral director, will serve as supervisor.
Located in Lebanon County next to the new Lebanon Social Security office, Snyder Bean Funeral Home & Crematory offers facilities for all faiths and cultures.
