A former vice president and COO of the Lancaster Chamber of Commerce & Industry has joined Lancaster-based marketing firm, Scheffey.
Cheryl Irwin-Bass was hired as the integrated marketing firm’s new strategic marketing director this month.
Irwin-Bass will work with the company’s clients on enhancing their marketing and sales models, Scheffey announced in a press release on Friday.
Before joining the firm, Irwin-Bass was director of marketing and communications for East Lampeter Township financial planning firm Domani Wealth. She also held several leadership positions at the Lancaster Chamber over the course of 17 years.
“Scheffey is always on the lookout for the right talent to join our team. Having the opportunity to add Cheryl to the Scheffey team allows us to build upon our strengths and successes,” said Kevin Murphy, director of HR and operations for Scheffey. “Cheryl comes to Scheffey with a strong understanding of the business community and Scheffey’s existing client base, which will immediately benefit our team and clients.”
Irwin-Bass is an adjunct faculty member of Millersville University’s Communications Department. She also sits on the board of directors for AAA Central Penn, the advisory council for Eastern Mennonite University and is a committee member for the United Way of Lancaster.
