Saxton & Stump acquires Montgomery County firm

Lancaster-based Saxton & Stump announced it will acquire Dietrich Law, effective Jan. 1. 

Saxton & Stump said the move is a part of its continued strategic plan to expand key practice groups with talented attorneys and paralegals. 

The three Montgomery County-based Dietrich Law lawyers will join Saxton & Stump and continue providing services to senior care, health care, and commercial litigation clients. 

Brian Scott Dietrich will join as an equity shareholder, and Taylor Nicholas and Michael Wenke will join the firm as senior counsel attorneys, Saxton & Stump said.

Dietrich is the owner and managing partner of the Dietrich Law Firm and has been in private practice for the last 34 years. He focuses his practice on health care and elder law litigation throughout the Pennsylvania civil courts and the Orphans’ Court Division.  

Nicholas represents assisted living facilities, hospital facilities, and long-term care nursing facilities. Before joining the Dietrich Law Firm in 2019, Nicholas was regional counsel for the Pennsylvania Office of General Counsel in the Department of Human Services.  

Wenke also represents assisted living facilities, hospitals and long-term nursing facilities.  He has held multiple leadership positions in the Delaware County Bar Association and served several years in the Pennsylvania Bar Association House of Delegates.
