The York and Baltimore County NAPA Auto Care Center owners are partnering with the York County Food Bank to help provide meals to seniors, individuals, and families.
According to a release, NAPA Auto Care Centers represent the largest network of repair facilities in the U.S. In York and Baltimore counties there are more than 30 NAPA Auto Care Centers. This week NAPA Auto Care Centers presented a check for $12,750 to the York County Food Bank located at 15 Marianne Drive.
“We are incredibly grateful to NAPA Auto Care Centers for their support, especially during the holiday season when we are seeing high demand in addition to the SNAP freeze,” Jennifer Brillhart, president and CEO of the York County Food Bank, said in a statement.
The York County Food Bank provided over 4.1 million pounds of food in 2024, which equates to more than 3.5 million meals to those in need.
The York County Food Bank serves as a central hub that collects and redistributes food to over 100 food distribution partners and programs, including 501c3 nonprofit groups, shelters, churches, senior centers, schools, and various community centers.
