Mechanicsburg-based Pierson Computing Connection, Inc., a woman-owned technology services company, announced the launch of its inaugural Thanks for Giving Initiative.

According to a release, the community-focused program is designed to equip local nonprofit organizations with modern technology to empower their missions.

Pierson deploys and refreshes technology equipment across schools, businesses, and government organizations throughout the Mid-Atlantic each year, per the release. As part of its ongoing commitment to sustainability and community impact, Pierson will be donating fully functional interactive flat panel displays to nonprofit organizations that can use the technology to further their mission, expand educational programming, and strengthen community services.

“Technology should never be a barrier to impact,” Katie Wagner, marketing coordinator & outreach at Pierson, said in a statement. “This initiative ensures that high-quality educational and presentation tools are given a second life — supporting organizations who give so much to our communities every day.”

Nonprofit organizations across Central are invited to apply, including:

The application window is Nov. 1-30. Eligible Counties include , , , Lancaster, , York, Adams, and . Applicants will complete a short form outlining how an interactive flat panel will enhance their services. Pierson’s leadership team will evaluate submissions based on impact, need, and readiness to utilize the technology.

Each display will be tested and verified in working condition prior to donation. Multiple organizations may be selected, and quantities will vary based on availability.

“As an organization rooted in service and sustainability, this initiative allows us to reduce waste, support mission-driven work, and strengthen the communities where we live and serve,” said Deb Pierson, CEO and president at Pierson. “We couldn’t think of a better way to honor this season of gratitude.”
