As managing shareholder, Michael Cassidy works with the firm’s management committee and law firm administrator overseeing all aspects of law firm operations, administration, and facilities management.
He has been in his current position four years.
Cassidy said Johnson Duffie experienced growth over the last 12 months in terms of adding new institutional clients, both business and government sector clients, that cross a multitude of practice areas within the firm. Additionally, the firm expanded the footprint of its active caseload within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
“While hardly unique to our law firm or our profession, generational workforce expectations are a challenge to the traditional law firm business model and operations. To recruit and retain younger attorneys, paralegals and support staff, we have invested in IT infrastructure and modified operational processes to allow for a more flexible work environment without detrimentally impacting the level of service provided to our clients. I see this trend continuing for the foreseeable future,” Cassidy said.
