Lititz makes the list of top Main Streets for fall shopping

Also making the list was Main Street in Bethlehem and Bridge Street in Phoenixville.
The study surveyed 3,007 U.S. respondents to uncover which main streets Americans most enjoy visiting for during fall for the atmosphere. The nationwide sample represented a balanced mix of ages, genders, and regions, ensuring that both small-town favorites and urban hotspots were fairly represented.
However, MarketBeat said a clear correlation emerged from the survey, which showed smaller communities tend to outshine bigger cities when it comes to fall shopping.
Out of 131 entries, Main Street appeared more than 40 times, far more than any other name.
It said another trend in the survey showed that the highest-ranked streets often have pedestrian-friendly layouts, heritage storefronts, and a growing preference for experience-based shopping.
That shows shoppers aren’t attracted to these streets for the discounts; they are coming for the experience.
