“I was inspired to launch LinguaSign out of a passion for bridging communication gaps between the hearing and Deaf communities,” Founder Kenneth Duncan said. “I saw a growing need for accessible, tech-driven solutions that make sign language easier to learn and use in everyday life.”
As a company in a developing field, Linguasign has faced some challenges. “One of the biggest has been building awareness and trust in a niche market,” Duncan said. “Navigating limited resources while developing a high-quality, inclusive product required creative problem-solving and resilience. Each challenge has pushed us to grow stronger and stay mission-focused.”
“I’m most proud of the progress we’ve made in developing LinguaSign and preparing it for launch,” Duncan said. “From building a strong foundation to engaging with the Deaf and hearing communities for feedback, each step has brought us closer to delivering a meaningful and inclusive solution.”
The company supports the broader public through outreach, collaboration with Deaf advocates, and creating educational content that fosters understanding and inclusivity. “We aim to raise awareness about the importance of accessibility and help build a more connected society,” Duncan said.
