Gettysburg-based ACNB Bank recently presented the 2023 Volunteer of the Year Award to Gary W. Rappoldt, senior vice president/regional commercial lending manager, in recognition of his community involvement. The Optimist Club of Gettysburg received a $1,000 contribution from ACNB Bank to acknowledge Rappoldt’s exemplary volunteer service.
Fulton Bank, a subsidiary of Fulton Financial Corp., released its 2022 Corporate Social Responsibility Report showcasing how Fulton Bank continues to meet its purpose of changing lives for the better. Some highlights include: $10.8 million in charitable contributions and donations via Fulton Bank from 2021-2022, and 26,391 employee volunteer hours from 2021 to 2022.
Enola-based Members 1st Federal Credit Union announce that its chairman of the board of directors, Jon Kirssin, received the 2023 Calvin Jackson Lifetime Achievement Award for Volunteer of the Year from CrossState Credit Union Association. In addition, the credit union’s indirect sales and service manager, Deana Barnes, was named one of the top three finalists in CrossState Credit Union Association’s 2023 Credit Union Ambassador Contest.

In recognition for successful programs to reduce their environmental impact, Lebanon VA Medical Center received the Partner for Change Award from Practice Greenhealth, the nation’s leading organization dedicated to environmental sustainability in health care.
