Lancaster Airport to add flights to Orlando this fall
Lancaster Airport will start offering flights to Orlando, Florida in October.
Breeze Airways will offer twice-weekly service to Orlando on Thursdays and Sundays, the airline said in a statement.
“With travel only expected to rise, Lancaster Airport must continue to work to meet the community’s growing demands,” said Ed Foster, executive director at the Lancaster Airport. “This partnership with Breeze opens exciting new opportunities for our region to allow family, friends and businesses to connect with non-stop services to one of the most popular destinations that local Lancaster travelers go to daily.”
Edward Harris, president and CEO of Discover Lancaster, said, “Breeze’s planned service will provide another useful way that folks can get to Lancaster for whatever purpose they are traveling here – tourism, business, visiting relatives. Any positive effect such travel can have on local tourism would certainly be economically beneficial to our area.”
Recognized by Travel + Leisure readers as one of the Top 5 Best U.S. Airlines for the second consecutive year, Breeze said it offers guests both bundled and a la carte options on flights operated with the Airbus A220-300.
