Choice Security Systems sold to Pye-Barker
Listen to this articleLancaster-based Choice Security Services, which offers security and fire alarms, fire inspections, video surveillance and environmental alarms, has been acquired by Pye-Barker Fire & Safety.
Choice Security Services operates in central Pennsylvania and northern Maryland. With this transaction, a release noted, Atlanta-based Pye-Barker strengthens its foothold in the Keystone State and enhances its services in the northern Maryland market.
Founded in 1946, Pye-Barker has 120-plus locations and more than 3,100 employees.
“My business partner James (Durkin) and I started Choice Security over 20 years ago to provide a better customer and employee experience,” CEO Ray Bear said in the release. “It’s rare to find a partner as aligned with your core values as we have with Pye-Barker.
