Harrisburg’s Spring Gate Spirits distillery is undergoing changes in ownership and location.

York County-based Allegro Wine Company LLC Owner has taken ownership interest in Spring Gate Spirits LLC, which is moving its operations from to .

“With the new legislation last year, the potential for expanded growth in different parts of the adult beverage industry has exploded for -produced products,” Helrich said in a statement. “Partnering with and Spring Gate Spirits is a natural fit between their established product development and sales channels and our production and distribution capabilities.”

Helrich has assumed the role of president of Spring Gate Spirits and will oversee management and all operations. Spring Gate Spirits was formerly located on the same property as and in Harrisburg, which are owned by a separate company.

Spring Gate Spirits produces and distributes spirits-based Ready-to-Drink cocktails in cans primarily available in beer distributors, grocery and convenience stores. Spirits products including crème liqueurs are available for licensees.

Allegro Wine Company owns Allegro (Stewartstown), Cadenza Vineyards (Brogue), and (Stewartstown) as well as . The latter is slated to open its taproom in Stewartstown in late spring.
