Big Brothers Big Sisters Capital Region acquires York/Adams affiliate
Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Capital Region has acquired Big Brothers Big Sisters of York and Adams County. The acquisition, which expands BBBSCR’s services from five to seven counties, triggered a name change.
The combined organization will be known as Big Brothers Big Sisters of South-Central PA.
According to a media release, BBBS of South-Central PA’s one-to-one mentoring programs are grounded in evidence-based practices that help young people develop the skills and confidence to navigate life’s challenges.
By expanding its services from five to seven counties, the nonprofit is poised to make an even greater impact on the lives of youth, helping them reach their full potential.
BBBS of South-2Central PA’s office is located at 227 West Market Street, Suite 104, York.
