Alley Cats Garage to serve U-Haul Truck rentals in Harrisburg
Alley Cats Garage has signed on as a U-Haul neighborhood dealer to serve the Harrisburg community, U-Haul Co. of Pennsylvania announced.
Services such as U-Haul trucks, trailers, towing equipment, and moving supplies will be offered by Alley Cats Garage at 1110 N. Cameron St. Business hours are 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday to Friday and 9 a.m.-12:30 p.m. on Saturday.
Since 1945, U-Haul has teamed with independent dealers to offer rental equipment to do-it-yourself movers. According to a release, over 21,000 dealers across the U.S. and Canada are generating supplemental income through their U-Haul affiliation. Customers renting from a U-Haul dealer support an independent small business in their community, per the release.
As financial investment is not required to be a dealer, local affiliates are not U-Haul franchises but are small businesses that have committed a portion of their lot space for U-Haul equipment, and a portion of their time to help meet mobility needs.
