Members 1st names new Chief Compliance Officer
Listen to this articleMembers 1st Federal Credit Union of Enola announced Wednesday that Scott Witwer has been promoted to Chief Compliance Officer.
Witwer most recently served as SVP of Compliance.
“We are thrilled to have Scott step into this crucial role,” Michael Wilson, president & CEO of Members 1st Federal Credit Union, said in a statement. “His extensive experience and deep understanding of the credit union industry makes him the perfect fit to guide our compliance efforts as we continue to grow and serve our members.”
According to a release, Witwer will oversee the compliance and risk management areas of the credit union and help lead the financial institution through the regulatory landscape. He joined Members 1st in December 2023 and has more than 30 years of financial industry experience in the credit union.
Witwer has served in several managerial roles, including customer service and retention, collections, lending, and in-house counsel, per a release.
