In its annual storm surge report, CoreLogic ranked Pennsylvania at No. 13 among states with the most homes at risk of hurricane damage.

Florida was No. 1 with more than 2.7 million homes at risk, or 40 percent of the homes included in the analysis. Louisiana was second with more than 800,000 homes.

Texas, New Jersey and New York rounded out the top five states.

Below Pennsylvania on the list is Connecticut, Delaware, Alabama, Rhode Island, Maine, New Hampshire and the District of Columbia.

CoreLogic pegged reconstruction costs in Pennsylvania — which assumes total destruction of at-risk homes — at more than $11 billion. The total reconstruction costs for the Atlantic and Gulf Coast was estimated at more than $1.5 trillion.

More than $950 million of that reconstruction estimate is for the Atlantic Coast.
