More than 7,000 visitors are expected to attend the 20th Annual Gettysburg Wine & Music Festival scheduled for Sept. 7-8 at Granite Hill Camping Resort.
Located at 3340 Fairfield Road in Gettysburg, the two-day event will feature sampling and purchasing from 27 Pennsylvania wineries and distilleries and more than 40 craft and food vendors, along with live music from local musicians.
Volunteers are needed for the event. Volunteer shifts are three hours each and shift times/areas vary. Every volunteer receives a free general admission ticket, t-shirt, souvenir wine glass, and unlimited samples for attendees over 21 years of age.
“All our volunteers, whether they have volunteered for the last 20 years or are joining us for the first time, are essential to the success of the festival,” staff member Maura Herron said in a statement. “No matter the role, over 100 volunteers come together to help produce an incredible festival for thousands of people, year after year.”
The festival is hosted by The Chamber of Gettysburg and Adams County and supported by local businesses and volunteers. The festival supports programs of The Chamber of Gettysburg and Adams County.
