Listen to this articleAli Marie Weiand’s goal as a child was to become an engineer, like her father and grandfather, and eventually work at the family engineering firm. As a child, she enjoyed listening to her family discuss business. She even worked in the firm’s lab washing sample bottles, where she loved collecting her paycheck — and also learned how fast it was spent.
While her career took her down a different path, Weiand values her colleagues and thinks of them as family. She loves Central Pennsylvania and enjoys the opportunities the local economy yields as well as the close-knit community, which has enabled Weiand’s firm to have a tight network and a great group of clients.
In her free time, Weiand is passionate about our youth, actively volunteering when she can to teach the value of hard work, education and the importance of contributing to society. In her free time, she enjoys being with her husband and three boys.
