Several York County sister companies are reorganizing under a new name today to create a “multi-disciplinary architecture, engineering and construction organization” under a new brand, according to a news release.

David Atkins, president of architecture and engineering at NUTEC, says the branding will better facilitate a turnkey approach to its service delivery.

The company has clients across the Mid-Atlantic and serves various industries, including manufacturing, food and beverage, warehouse and distribution, corporate/commercial, government and defense, healthcare, consumer goods and pharmaceutical/biomedical.

“The new NUTEC identity maintains a connection to our companies’ roots, but better represents who we are now and our collective goals for the future,” says Jill Kovach, NUTEC vice president — construction.

NUTEC traces its roots to 1986 when R.S. Noonan dissolved and restructured under NuTec Design Associates. In 1998, NuTec Facilities Corp. was created to offer a “one-stop-shop” for clients looking for design-build services, according to the company website. In 2006, NuTec Group was formed to initially align the companies under one umbrella, and the further rebranding to NUTEC “places emphasis on our commitment to collaboration,” the website says.
