A well-known fine-dining establishment in downtown York has new owners.

York marketing exec Mandy Arnold and her husband, chef Sean Arnold, have purchased The Left Bank Restaurant & Bar.

The Arnolds are purchasing the North George Street restaurant, considered a special-occasion destination, from Chef David Albright and his wife Julie Albright, who have owned the restaurant for 19 years.

Sean Arnold is a private chef and educator, while Mandy Arnold is CEO of York’s Gavin Advertising and serves with other community organizations.

The Left Bank is at 120 N. George St.

The Arnolds plan to continue to operate the restaurant as The Left Bank Bar & Restaurant, a news release Wednesday said. The expected timeline for the official transfer of ownership, pending the final approval of the liquor license, is this September, it said.
