York marketing/public relations firm now reaching out to Harrisburg

Visual Impact Group, which was founded in 1996 by its president, Randy Schrum, has about a dozen employees, company officials said Thursday.
The company has served clients from Dentsply Sirona Inc. to Hershey’s Ice Cream and the state tourism office, its webpage said.
“We’ve had outstanding success with our loyal clients in the York area, but Harrisburg has always been a topic of discussion among our leadership team,” Schrum said in a news release. “Our expansion into Harrisburg is long overdue and we’re excited to expand our reach.”
The company is based on Roosevelt Avenue in York City. It is not planning a new office in the Harrisburg area related to the market expansion there, company officials said.
The move is the latest move by a regional advertising agency to hop from one local market into another.
In 2015 the former Moxie Design and Marketing LLC in York changed its name to Grit Marketing Group and opened an office in Lancaster.
In 2016 York advertising and public relations agency Gavin bought TFM Advertising, which was based in Swatara Township, Dauphin County.
