York County IDA requests qualifications from environmental consultants

The York County Industrial Development Authority today said
it is soliciting environmental consultants to submit their qualifications for a
project involving land the authority agreed to purchase from Harley-Davidson
Inc.

The York County Industrial Development Authority today said
it is soliciting environmental consultants to submit their qualifications for a
project involving land the authority agreed to purchase from Harley-Davidson
Inc.

The project involves reviewing environmental data about 58
acres of land that is being purchased. The property being acquired is known as
the west campus of Milwaukee-based Harley’s operations in Springettsbury Township.

qualifications can be found here. The deadline to submit qualifications is 9
a.m. Jan. 19. The authority later will solicit pricing proposals for the
project, according to a written statement.

The authority is the developer and owner of Sovereign Bank
Stadium in York
and has helped create three industrial parks within the county.
