The York County Economic Alliance will honor Carolyn Warman, executive director of Leadership York, at its 2016 Business Achievement Dinner on Tuesday, May 10.
Warman has led Leadership York since 2000, helping the organization triple its total assets to better meet York County’s need for motivated, diverse, effective community leaders who strengthen the community, according to a YCEA news release.
YCEA officials said the business award is presented to an individual or individuals who have developed a successful enterprise, created jobs, a product and opportunities, have established high moral and ethical values that set a standard of excellence in the marketplace, and whose leadership has thrust the region into economic prominence.
Warman holds a bachelor’s degree from Gettysburg College, and has completed numerous continuing-education courses over the years, along with serving on many community and other organizations.
The May 10 award dinner begins with a reception at 5 p.m. at the Wyndham Garden York.
