York College names new dean of advancement

Maryland school official also to serve as chief fundraiser for York Country Day School

York College has a new chief fundraiser.

Veteran educational administrator Jane Hogge of Timonium, Md., has been named York College’s dean of college advancement and also chief fundraiser at York Country Day School. She will begin her duties July 1.

Hogge currently serves as assistant vice president for advancement at Loyola University Maryland, where she also served as director of annual giving programs.

Prior to her time at Loyola, she served as director of alumni relations and then director of alumni relations and annual giving at another Maryland school, Stevenson University.

She also has experience in the independent school environment, having served as director of alumnae relations and as assistant to the head of school for financial aid at her alma mater, St. Paul’s School for Girls in Brooklandville, Md.

Hogge holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from Loyola and a master’s degree in industrial administration from Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh.
