York clothing store owner expands into home décor

The owner of My Girlfriend’s Wardrobe in York is launching a home décor and gifts venture March 22.
Alexandria Keener Hammond, owner of My Girlfriend’s Wardrobe, 38 N. Beaver St., said she is announcing the opening of Preston & jayne Wednesday on social media channels.
The new venture will launch with display space in My Girlfriend’s Wardrobe and through an online store, she said, and will offer home décor and gift items, most for under $50.
“This business has been five years in the making. I am so excited to bring affordable and great quality home decor and gift items to Downtown York and have a place where our customers can shop in person seven days a week. This year marks 10 years downtown for me, and I am always blown away by the support of my family, friends, and community,” Keener Hammond said.
