Investment Real Estate LLC of York recruited Rick Hansberry as its director of acquisitions, a position in which the intellectual and business law expert will work with the firm’s leadership team to craft strategic planning and organizational goals.
A locally owned and operated brokerage firm with offices in Pennsylvania, Virginia and Connecticut, Investment Real Estate LLC specializes in brokerage and feasibility services for the self-storage industry.
Hansberry previously worked at CGA Law Firm, where he served as a transactional and intellectual property paralegal from 2004 to 2019. Prior to that position, Hansberry worked at Barley Snyder as a paralegal.
“I’m excited to bring my extensive corporate and commercial real estate experience to an industry that’s exploding with opportunities,” Hansberry stated in a company press release.
At Investment Real Estate, Hansberry will lead legal efforts and due diligence for the firm’s brokerage and acquisition teams. This will include commutating with buyers, sellers and attorneys for all real estate closings, working closely with investors and lenders and maintaining proper documentation and licensing for all legal aspects of the brokerage business, according to an official company press release.
“I am very excited to have someone with Rick’s breadth and experience to join our team of real estate professionals,” says Chief Operations and Financial Officer Chris Riley announcing the appointment. “His extensive background in real estate transactions and developing key relationships will serve us well as we continue to grow the self-storage portfolio and expand our brokerage platform.”
