Bane Strategies
Former deputy chief of staff to Gov. Tom Wolf, Bane has been involved in politics and government for over 15 years.
As a key economic advisor to Wolf, she oversaw the Redevelopment Assistance Capital Program and was the lead contact in deploying over $500 million in economic development funding throughout Pennsylvania.
“Like mostly every industry, the COVID-19 pandemic has significantly changed what I do for a living,” Bane said. Lobbying is about building and maintaining relationships, “two things that are very difficult to do in a digital work environment. Now that things are opened up, I have a much easier time advocating on behalf of my clients.”
Outside of her family, she cited former Gov. Ed Rendell as a mentor. “While working with his secretary of policy and planning, I learned that the most important part of governing is bringing people together and finding compromise on issues of importance to the people of Pennsylvania. I’ve carried the lessons I’ve learned from that experience with me for over a decade. He was a great boss.”
