After Hours: CEO volunteers at spouse’s equine therapy program

It began with horse-riding lessons but word of mouth has made it something more.

Today, Little Springs Farm offers recreational equine therapy to children and their families who have suffered through traumatic experiences.

The 25-acre farm, which straddles the border of Lancaster and Berks counties, was born out of Cindy Martin’s lifelong love of horses and her empathy for people in need.

A Conversation with Janet Morgan Riggs

Janet Morgan Riggs became the 14th president of Gettysburg College in 2009. She studied psychology and mathematics at Gettysburg College before earning a master's degree and doctorate in social psychology from Princeton University. Riggs and her husband, Edward, have three adult children and live in Gettysburg.
