A new primary care practice has opened in Spring Grove.
WellSpan Family Medicine opened its doors on Monday at 430 N. Main St. and offers a range of primary care services, including preventative care, physical exams, pediatrics and women’s health services. The practice also offers flu shots.
Dr. Christina Doll, and certified registered nurse practitioners Jessica Guinard and Karen Phillips are practicing at the new office, providing diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic illnesses for patients of all ages. In addition to the three clinicians, the office is staffed by five employees – two medical assistants, two administrative employees and a practice manager, said Brett Marcy, senior director public relations and communications for WellSpan Health.
The Spring Grove practice is open on Mondays, 7:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.; Tuesdays, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Wednesdays and Thursdays, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.; and Fridays, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The York Township-based health system opened a rehab facility in Hanover in July at 1000 Carlisle St. WellSpan has also expanded its oncology, hematology and urology services in Hanover, opening a new facility at 671 Wilson Ave.
In December, WellSpan Health is planning to open an urgent care center in the Hanover area at 100 Eisenhower Drive. It will also open another facility in late January in the West Manchester Town Center, 717 Town Center Drive.
The new Hanover and West Manchester Township locations join five existing urgent care sites in York, Adams and Lancaster counties.
Next year, the health system is planning to open the WellSpan Health and Surgery Center at 1227 Baltimore St. in Penn Township. The 80,000-square-foot facility will feature an outpatient surgery suite, diagnostic imaging services and lab services as well as multiple primary care and specialty care physician offices.
