WellSpan Health is opening a new urgent care center in Manheim Township in August.
Located at 101 W. Airport Road, just south of Lititz, the facility will offer walk-in non-emergency care services for patients age 3 months and older.
The center will also offer physicals for school, camp, college and sports as well as some routine immunizations. Imaging services will also be available on site.
A rotation of nine employees will work at this office, half of which will be new hires, said Daniel Carrigan, spokesperson for WellSpan.
The new location features six exam rooms with two procedure rooms, as well as parking for Plain patients’ buggies and a charging station for electric cars.
Creston Tate, D.O., WellSpan medical director of urgent care, said the opening of the new center was part of WellSpan’s commitment to accessible care in Lancaster County. This is the second urgent care location in Lancaster County – the first is located at 446 N. Reading Road in Ephrata. The Ephrata office opened as QuickCare in November 2013 and transitioned to a WellSpan Urgent Care location in January 2018.
WellSpan Urgent Care also has centers located in Lancaster, York, and Adams counties.
Patients also have access to an online service called “Reserve My Spot.” With the service, patients may schedule an appointment via smartphones, computer, tablets or at an in-person kiosk check-in at the office.
The new Manheim Township office will be open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., seven days a week.
