WellSpan Health is expanding its network of urgent care services with the addition of two new facilities in York County.
The health system plans to open an urgent care center in December in the Hanover area at 100 Eisenhower Drive, Suite 360. It will open another facility in late January in the West Manchester Town Center, 717 Town Center Drive.
Walk-in care services cover non-emergency needs, such as minor illnesses and injuries – from sore throats and coughs to back pain, rashes and burns – for patients ages 3 months and older. The new locations will also offer on-site X-ray services.
Like other urgent care facilities in the WellSpan network, the new locations will be open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., seven days a week.
Through the use of smartphones, tablets, computers or at in-person check-in kiosks at the offices themselves, patients can reserve time slots that best suits their schedules.
The new Hanover and West Manchester Township locations join five existing urgent care sites in York, Adams and Lancaster counties.
WellSpan also plans to open a new family medicine practice at 430 N. Main St. in Spring Grove next month, said Brett Marcy, senior director of public relations and communications for the health system.
