Wagman Construction Inc. has named a new president from within its corporate ranks.
The York-based construction company today announced that Michael Konieczka is now president and COO. He had been the company’s executive vice president over the past two years.
With more than 30 years of construction industry experience, Konieczka assumes the role of president from Wagman CEO Mike Glezer. Glezer had been serving in that capacity on an interim basis. He remains the company’s CEO.
The company’s former president and COO, Kevin Snoke, left the company in December after five years, according to his LinkedIn page. Glezer declined comment on the reason for Snoke’s departure.
Wagman conducted a nationwide search and interviewed multiple candidates for the job before the family and board of directors chose Konieczka, Glezer said. “His experience working with large successful contractors and the Lean Construction Institute has brought a new level of strategic vision and implementation of technology to the organization that has enhanced our operations and level of service internally and externally.”
Wagman Construction is part of Wagman Inc., based in Manchester Township.
This story has been clarified. Mike Glezer’s role as CEO has not changed.
