Vincent J. Delie Jr.
President, CEO and Chair
FNB Corporation and First National Bank
Delie has been with FNB in various executive positions for 17 years. In 2009, he was named president of First National Bank, F.N.B. Corporation’s banking subsidiary, and subsequently was promoted to its CEO. In 2011, he was named President of F.N.B. Corporation. Three years later, Delie was named CEO of F.N.B. Corporation and joined the board of directors, and in 2017, he was named Chairman of the board of directors.
Delie said when FNB’s employees, customers and communities thrive, so does FNB. He takes every opportunity to visit the bank’s branches and engage with clients and has an open-door policy so he can stay connected with employees at all levels of the organization. “By making sure our leadership team is connected to what is happening in the company and in our communities, we foster a differentiated culture for our employees and a first-class banking experience for our customers,” he said.
Delie was raised in Pittsburgh’s North Side and witnessed the impact the decline of the steel industry had on the economy. “Seeing that created in me a desire to develop opportunities that would benefit my community, and, in banking, I get to do that every day.”
Outside of work, Delie enjoys spending time with his family and doing outdoor activities including hiking, walking, kayaking, biking and fishing.
