Grizzle has served as president and CEO for 12 years. As CEO, he works in collaboration with the company’s board of directors and leadership team to set company direction, vision and strategy. This includes shaping organizational leadership, building corporate culture and setting the overall tone for the company. He leads the execution of our strategy, which requires anticipating change and managing through shifting market conditions. He also works to drive innovation and positive change throughout the company.
He says the biggest test over the past year was the convergence of global uncertainty, supply chain issues, persistent inflation, rising interest rates and labor shortages, creating a series of shocks to companies and communities. “I sought deeper engagement with leaders outside and inside my industry because no matter how smart or focused we are about our business, we are rarely insulated. It is so important to always stay close to each other and to our customers – that was my main message to the company,” Grizzle says.
