Univest’s Lancaster County market president adds new role

//October 4, 2018

Thomas Jordan IV, who was named market president last year as the bank added to its branch footprint in Lancaster County, has been promoted to president of business banking for the company.

In addition to his current role, Jordan will now lead the sales and operations of the business banking area. He also is tasked with developing a business plan and organizational structure to help Univest continue growing its commercial business.

Prior to joining Univest in 2016, Jordan was a regional president at National Penn Bank, where he led the consumer and commercial banking operations in Lancaster County.

Since the bank entered the Lancaster County market in 2016, the staff has doubled. Univest now employs more than 40 people between its Greenfield Corporate Center office and five branch locations around the county.

Univest has about $4.7 billion in assets and $3.5 billion in assets under management through its wealth management lines of business, as of June 30. The bank has more than 50 offices in southeastern Pennsylvania extending into the Lehigh Valley and Lancaster County markets, as well as in New Jersey and Maryland.
