Attorney Kathy Granbois will lead the United Way of Lancaster County’s board of directors for the next two years.
Granbois was elected board chair at the organization’s June 8 meeting after serving as chair elect since 2016, according to a news release from McNees Wallace & Nurick LLC, where Granbois specializes in business law and related areas.
“We are excited to welcome Kathy Granbois as our new board chair,” said Sue Suter, United Way of Lancaster County president & CEO. “Kathy’s leadership skills and dedication to our mission will guide our organization as we work to make Lancaster County a better place for everyone.”
Granbois previously served as the United Way of Lancaster County‘s vice chair of finance and administration. She has also been a mentor in the Lancaster Chamber of Commerce Women in Business program, fundraising chair of the Lancaster Youth Amateur Hockey League and volunteer for ASSETS Lancaster.
Randy Patterson, director of economic development & neighborhood revitalization for the City of Lancaster, is the United Way chapter’s immediate past chair.
