Union National reports Q1 earnings rebound, dividend freeze

Union National Financial Corp. reported earnings of $413,000
for the first quarter, up from a loss of $356,000 in the same period of 2007,
when the company took big charges on a restructuring initiative and changes to
its balance sheet.

its balance sheet.

Earnings per diluted share were 16 cents, up from a loss of
14 cents in the year-ago period, according to Union National. The Lancaster County company announced that it would
continue a freeze on dividend payments for another quarter. The freeze began
with the 2007 fourth-quarter dividend.

Union National Financial Corp. is the parent company of
Union National Community Bank. The
company’s shares are listed on the Over the Counter Bulletin Board under the
ticker symbol UNNF.OB.
