The Vitec Group has acquired Carlisle-based RF Central and Hackettstown, N.J.-based Nucomm Inc. for a combined $75.8 million, according to a report by information service Thomson Financial.
Jeff Winemiller, president and chief executive officer of RF Central, confirmed the sale this morning. Additional details about the deal were unavailable.
RF Central and Nucomm both design and manufacture microwave broadcast equipment. The companies are not affiliated.
The Vitec Group is a Untied Kingdom-based business that supplies equipment and service to the broadcasting, entertainment and photographic industries.
