Two CPBJ reporters will host Twitter chats this week.
In recognition of Community Banking Month, reporter Michael Sadowski will moderate a Twitter conversation with Jill Castillo, who will be a guest speaker this week at the Pennsylvania Association of Community Bankers annual conference on marketing.
The chat starts at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday.
Castillo, president and CEO of Citizens Bank of Edmund in Oklahoma, has been named a top social media influencer by the Independent Community Bankers Association and has appeared on national talk shows promoting community banking.
Castillo, whose bank has about $250 million in assets, will answer questions about social media marketing in banking, regulatory pressures and any banking question followers want to know.
At 2 p.m. Thursday, reporter John Hilton will host a Twitter chat follow-up to his Friday story on the state of the labor market in southcentral Pennsylvania.
The chat will include the hashtag #centralpaworkforce and anyone can ask questions or join the discussion.
