Trump plans weekend appearance in Gettysburg

Donald Trump is bringing his battle for Pennsylvania to Gettysburg.

The Republican presidential contender won’t be storming Little Round Top, but he is scheduled to speak Saturday morning at the Eisenhower Complex, according to his campaign website.

The 11 a.m. event is not open to the public, however.

He is scheduled to be in Johnstown and suburban Philadelphia today. After his Gettysburg appearance on Saturday, the candidate will hopscotch to Virginia and then Ohio, before heading to Florida on Sunday and Monday.

Democratic challenger Hillary Clinton will be in Pittsburgh and Philadelphia on Saturday, prior to heading to North Carolina on Sunday.

According to the latest RealClearPolitics.com average of polls, Clinton leads Trump in Pennsylvania by 46.4 to 40.2 percent with two weeks and four days remaining until Election Day on Nov. 8.
