Transamerican Auto Parts opening Carlisle distribution center, retail store
Transamerican, a leading manufacturer, wholesaler and retailer of aftermarket parts and accessories for trucks, Jeeps, SUVs and four-wheel drive vehicles, will open at 5 Logistics Drive in Carlisle. The facility is 305,090 square feet and will be the largest of the company’s six nationwide distribution centers.
The 4 Wheel Parts retail store also will be the first in Pennsylvania for the company, which has 83 stores across the country.
“We’re excited to bring our newest and largest location to Carlisle,” said Randy Krzesinski, director of human resources. “Transamerican Auto Parts is a dynamic, growing company and this is a tremendous opportunity to share who we are as a company with prospective applicants along with the many opportunities that are available within our multiple business units.”
Transamerican is looking to hire more than 70 people for the facility. The two-day job fair is being held at the Comfort Suites Downtown Carlisle on South Hanover Street. The fair runs today and tomorrow from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
