Tommy’s Express Car Wash to open near Ephrata

Tommy’s Express Car Wash is opening its first franchise in Lancaster County.
The fast-growing Holland, Michigan-based company announced on its website that a location is “coming soon” to 798 E. Main St., Ephrata Township.
Tommy’s Express Communications Manager Carrie Caldwell said that the Ephrata car wash is expected to open this fall.
Earlier this month, Tommy’s Express announced that it launched nine car wash franchises in the first quarter of 2022, from Richmond, Virginia, to Denton, Texas.
That brings the total number to 102, with 230 more in development here in the U.S. and abroad.
Describing itself as a “next-gen, high-efficiency national car wash franchise,” Tommy’s Express has two other car washes in central Pennsylvania – at 3253 Union Deposit Road, Susquehanna Township, and 825 Norland Ave., Chambersburg.
